Our Robin by phil_sandford

Our Robin

This is the first time this year that I've seen 'our robin' got a feeling he's been staying away due to the presence of the resident Sparrowhawk; she's been dropping in to eat most days (bit like the woodpecker that's has become a daily visitor)

Foul day here in the shire, it's rained almost non-stop; this was taken through the kitchen window, so I'm afraid, the reflection of the kitchen is visible in the photograph. Hey ho, I wasn't going out in the weather.

He could well be mine !! They are so lovely and it is a compulsion to capture them !

@beryl If I were home everyday, and he turned up everyday, I reckon I could post 365 photos of him (would probably lose a fair few followers, but I could do it) :-D

It's good that he was able to slip in between the other visitors.

Poor little Mr Robin - I have the feeling that he thinks life is getting to be a bit too difficult! Or else, I'm wrong!

Poor birds in this horrid weather. We've had lots of Blackbirds at the food.
