Another photograph (and the last) from the Japanese Meditation Garden near Newark, Notts where Carole and spent quite a few hours on Monday. The lovely man who 'built' this garden has statues like this all over the place, they are, I think, lit at night (you can have night light visits in August and September) and visitors, as you can see, place coins as a kind of tribute around them.
I really believe I could visit here, sit down and just take time out from my often hectic and busy life and 'smell the coffee.'
