Absolutely my favourite of the seasons, we’re now pretty deep into Autumn (or The Fall across the pond). After an extra hour in bed (British Summer Time ended last night) we woke to clear blue skies and sunshine so took to opportunity to have another convalescing walk outside with Carole at Doddington Hall just outside Lincoln.
The contrast between the golds of this tree and the deep blue of the Autumnal sky was too good to ignore.
I’m now recovering on the sofa.
Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s Kingfisher offering. Much appreciated.
What a beautiful colour. I have been missing some of your shots lately and just realized that you said you have both had Covid. Hope you are on the mend now. How awful for you.
@onewing Hi Babs, yes sadly, there was an outbreak at the Nursing Home that Carole works at so it was always a matter of time before she sadly caught it as would I. We've both been posting photographs during our 'self isolation' but we've been confined to the house and/or garden so it was very nice to get out and about this weekend. Carole is back to work today and I'm getting better each day. It's not an enjoyable experience and not one I'd wish on anybody, but we seem to have made it through and are both getting stronger each day. Take care out there won't you?
