Our regular Sparrowhawk came in 3 times today, each time the smaller birds got away (which is more than a Goldfinch did yesterday); on one of its visits, it alighted in one of the Maple trees and sat there waiting. The smaller birds didn’t come anywhere near the feeders whilst he was in the tree.
