Made a break for it today to avoid the mad rush of everybody getting out of Cornwall on Saturday morning (Saturday is change over day); goodness knows what the roads will be like tomorrow, it took is just over 8 hours to drive the 370 miles home.

The two flags made me smile; the white cross on the black is Cornwall and the Jolly Roger reminded me of my Grandfather, Pop, who always flew a Jolly Roger on the radio antenna of his Ford Zodiacs (Goodness knows how he got that large car down some of the Cornish roads).

I’d happily retire to Cornwall.

Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.
Never knew that about Saturdays, makes sense now.

It's the flag of Kernow and looks good above the jolly Roger.
Glad you're home safe
