St Michael’s Mount by phil_sandford

St Michael’s Mount

A busy day today, St Ives, Lands End, St Michaels Mount and then dinner in Perranporth.

We timed it perfectly to catch the causeway flooding with the tide rushing in; had to wait for visitors walking back to the mainland to stop in order to get the sunken causeway and the monastery in the background.

Currently both sat with wet feet in the restaurant as the tide came in behind us. 🤣🤣

Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.
Great capture, love that leading line.

A path with a difference! Totally amazed at the speed at which it gets covered! Nice shot - eventually when all the people eventually got out of the way!
