This is the furthest, 8.8 miles, that I have ridden a bike in many a year; it’s also the first time I have ever worn a cycle helmet in my life, but it crossed my mind the other week that perhaps I should get one as I really do not fancy a trip to A&E; hospitals are probably best avoided at the moment. I didn’t exactly tear up trees or set any world records, a leisurely cycle. I had my camera with me and stopped more than a few times when things caught my eye.
Now sat on sofa with Netflix wondering if I’m going to be able to get up again.
