The sunshine that the west of the country has been enjoying since mid-May finally arrived in the Shire today. It topped at 25° about same time as Carole told me that I shouldn’t be bending down and gardening as it will put undue pressure on my eye. G&T time then, it must be 5 O’Clock somewhere.
