Sunset at Coober Pedy

Most housing here is underground. The town is an opal mining town and HOT much of the year so houses are dug into the ground and hills.
We are standing on top of a hotel covered in this mound. Ventilation ducts such as old garbage cans with conical tops are scattered around.
