carrots ready to cook for Sunday lunch

The best I can do for the recent word of the day = veg. They tasted good with spring cabbage, roast chicken, home-made sage and onion stuffing, roast potatoes, onion gravy and to follow: chocolate mousse and/or strawberries and cream.

We do like going out for meals but feel there is really nothing to match home cooking?!
