It was hard to take good shots at the market because of the large number of people around. But this chap selling hot roast chestnuts agreed to have his photo taken.
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Very nice composition, Hazel, you've got him just right, and pointing right, into the picture. Leads you on to the barrow, chestnuts and the stalls and people. Love the red against the black, too. Good exposure. (Saw this on the Home page, usually only look at the main albums of my Friends. Be interested to see what you have put in your No. 1 album, will have to be good to better this one!)
Thanks for feedback - I thought this was the best of 3 shots I took of this chap. I'm putting it in for my homework for photo group on Mon together with http://365project.org/quietpurplehaze/365/2013-11-28
and http://365project.org/quietpurplehaze/365/2013-11-29
so I'm going to be interested to see what comments they draw.
I think this market shot is better than the one in my main album which I put there today as I took it this morning!
Wonderful street capture, my favourite at this time of year, I remember we used to put them on the shovel and into the fire until they split open, they weren't quite as an expensive treat in those days!!!
Oh aren't Christmas markets just the best, we were at the market on the South Bank yesterday, right under the London Eye. Everything looked so warm and welcoming, even on a cold day.

It's very busy and the baps filled with hot roast pork or turkey, and stuffing, are very tasty!
Thank you - appreciated - I think we all forget the fav 'click' sometimes.
I was worried about the black background but it came out OK.
