Haze's strangers: No.12a: Gail

I've already posted a shot of Gail in my strangers' sequence:

Now I have also made a collage of her with her home-made sauces and pickles and wondered if anybody might give me some feedback.

I made the collage on FastStone using a plain background and frame effects around the 3 photos I used.

If you had made the background vertical instead of horizontal, top picture bigger and placed the two bottom pictures along the bottom in front of her, I probably wouldn't have even realized it was a collage. I usually prefer my collages to have less plain background showing. But, still, your collage nicely highlights her products.

Well this doesn't look in the least like a collage to me Hazel.. Looks like Gail is looking through a window with all her jars & pickles on shelves round her....you can't see the join!

I like the way you have put this together, it looks quite natural as one photo rather than a collage. Cleverly done.

@happypat @homeschoolmom pat and Lisa's comments are good ones in that you cannot easily tell it is a montage . I don't know if this is the effect you wanted or not.
You have a lot of black negative space which I feel needs filling . I'd have been tempted to do triptych style with bottles top and bottom , with the bottle shots being one in close up for detail and one wide angle for patterns with colour. You may have
