Five weeks out…

Went to the collision shop this morning to check out another rental car because the first one has to go back next week and we're not certain this vehicle will be ready. Pretty sad looking, yes? If you look at the original on-street photo, it's almost impossible to believe that the damage was more than $10,000 and would take *this* long to repair, except that this is the engine compartment…

Ouch. I hope this doesn't increase your rates. It is hard to believe hw much repairs can run, even with minimal damage.

yes, hard to believe it's taking them this long - are they working on it in their spare time!!

Yes, it is pretty sad looking! I had minor damage done to my car when I was hit, and it took three weeks in the repair shop - at least I was hit by someone with insurance!

@digitalrn We're changing insurance companies, so I don't know about this... :-\
@sitiodown @angievega @aspada We won't have it back this week; yesterday was 6 weeks… Today they are waiting on a wiring harness before they can put "Humpty" back together. Then painting begins. Sigh.
