This image is an accomplishment of sorts and yes, I know the image is crooked, but read on!
The single I have been rowing is a Maas Aero — http://www.maasboats.com/aero.htm — Clare and I bought. The Aero has a beam of 19" at the waterline.
Roland and I went out today; he rowed his Aero and let me row his Peinert Dolphin — http://www.peinert.com/dolphin.html — which measures only 13" at the waterline. This is closer to the Peinert X25 I flipped twice at Craftsbury with its beam of only 10½" at the waterline.
This image comes near the end of our row and I'm happy to say that I didn't flip. I probably had 10–15 “situations” that could have ended with me going into the lake, but in the end I did not take an unplanned swim in the chilly lake!
Note to Roland: Next time I seem too full-of-myself after a row, ask me if I think I'm ready to try the Dolphin again…

@digitalrn Thanks for a chuckle! I thought about rowing by myself today, but instead have adopted a personal policy of not going solo if the air temperature is below at least 45°F.
@michelleyoung Thank you, Shells! I truly am fortunate to have my health and be able to have the hardware needed for this combination of recreation and exercise!
