I know holly (genus Ilex, which is the only living genus in the Aquifoliaceae family) can be male or female. This is in our yard and I will have to appeal to experts to find out what we have! Today was a busy weekend day and this is one of only two frames that will make it to “back-up.” Tomorrow begins the last week of classes and I am so looking forward to the end of this semester.
