Yesterday in St. Louis, today in Columbia, IL, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our former pastor’s ordination as a priest. It was nice to see Father Carl and his current parish’s new church. Wow. Our “little” $1.2 million renovation wasn’t even a warm-up to building the new church in Columbia; more like just a couple of tosses of the baseball in the locker room than a bona fide warm-up in the bullpen.
I was very discouraged by this photo as it’s not really in focus. Talk about *ETSOOI*, MaryBeth — I used the Sharpen and Sharpen More filters a few times to get it to this degree of legibility. How could it not be in focus; what else besides the sign was there for the P&S camera to see? In the bright light and with my reading glasses, I couldn’t know it wasn’t in focus until I was home. Sigh.
