Making sure the lake is still there…

Roland & I haven’t been able to row for quite a while — since October 28 for me, http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2013-10-28
It turns out that it’s not just the weather (wind and cold). Not only is the lake covered with ice, which alone would make rowing pretty difficult, but the access road is closed, too. It’s more of a luge or skeleton run right now!

They mean business with all those signs and gates! It sounds fun to sled on!

@espyetta Apparently some people (I'll refrain from editorializing!) didn't think the signs applied to them and/or didn't think it through and went down the road to the lake. No problem getting down. But climbing out from the bottom on the ice is a completely different story!

@rhoing Some people...they think rules are only for everyone else.

@espyetta Potential winners of the annual Darwin Award — unwittingly culling the herd!
