New bedspread + pillows for the 31-year old bed frame. (Mattress is new.)
One new bed-side table.
Two new lamps.
One very-old clock radio.¹
Painted in “Mitchell Gold” — see http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2014-02-16
Decorated with our new favored medium for photographs: “canvases.” (Besides this “triptych,” there are four other canvases!)
[If you missed it, yeah, there’s a land-line phone here!]
The “triptych” image was a 365 post — http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2012-05-23 — of San Antonio’s River Walk. I’m still learning strategies for choosing the edge options and I don’t really like everything about this image, but it gets the point across. (Hmm — the bluish patch at the bottom of the third canvas *is* in the original image! It’s reflected sky. But I still wish I had Frank’s perspective-straightening expertise and tools!)
¹ For power-outage protection, my alarm clock is a battery operated clock that’s across the room. Why? “Snooze” is too tempting! If it’s across the room, I have to get out of bed to shut it off. Then I’m “up”!

@sarahview Thanks, Sarah! We like it! The other 4 canvases are from favorite places/trips: Paris (the Louvre at night); Hilton Head, SC; Tuscany (San Gimignano); and a 365 post from our first over-night train trip, http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2011-05-23.
