Clare & I went to a “spaghetti dinner, raffle and concert” to raise money for the Southern Illinois Healthcare “Hope is Home” campaign — http://www.sih.net/ways-to-give/sih-foundation/hope-is-home/ — hosted by the SIH-SIU Department of Kinesiology Strong Survivors. (One of the objectives is to build a “dedicated cancer center” for cancer patients, so they will not have to travel a long distance for the care they need.) This is Rip Lee, part of the evening’s entertainment.
My first frame captured all of Rip, including feet. I realized that his feet weren’t important, so my second frame was composed like the shot above, but his mouth was closed. So I waited for him to be singing (and *not* playing the harmonica!) and got what I wanted with the third frame.
Didn’t get to the lake today, as we drove an hour to have lunch with long-time friends beginning their trek from genealogy work in St. Louis back to their New England homes: Rhode Island for her and New Hampshire for him. You live where the jobs are.
