Fuzzy

Re-remembering an epiphany (of sorts) I had the first year I used February for B&W, this plant is all about texture; there really isn't much color I "threw away" in gray-scaling the image. Although it's a bit difficult to tell, these leaves seem to have a pale green color. The fuzzies or hairs on their surfaces are white, so the end result is a very, very pale green throughout the image; i.e., not much color to throw away in gray-scaling.

Don't know what the plant is, but I will find out…
“Helichrysum petiolare” or “licorice plant,” posted last summer,

Although it isn't this one, I have a color photo of this plant at PhytoImages, http://phytoimages.siu.edu/imgs/paraman1/r/Asteraceae_Helichrysum_petiolare_96018.html
