This guy joined me during my water break at 1:59 p.m. (according to the camera's time stamp.) Here s/he's on the "button" of an oar. I photographed it on my hand and then my water bottle.
S/he remained on my water bottle when I resumed rowing back to the dock, hitchhiking for about a half-hour and 4,000 meters (2½ miles)! See the BAMONA sighting page for the “after” photo taken at 2:31 p.m.!

@rhoing This should've made the PP, if not for comp and focus alone! See, I don't get it. My crappy series shot made the PP today and it doesn't have but just a few favs and hardly any comments. When the really great shots like these go unnoticed! I still say it's who you follow and who follows you!
@marlboromaam Don’t understand the “secret sauce” of PP selection. Years ago I tried playing The PP Game with more consciously-selected followers. To no effect. Among my 3,200 posts, I have some real stinkers, for sure. But I think I’ve posted some pretty cool shots now and then. And out of the 3,200, ten made the PP. So I’ve stayed on 365 mostly for me and mostly for doing a family calendar at the end of the year, though getting close to being caught up — if four weeks behind is “close” — has enthused me a bit.
