Monterey Bay by rhoing

Monterey Bay

We spent last night in Pacific Grove at a B&B. After breakfast this morning, we took a walk to the Point Pinos Lighthouse (closed) and then walked down by the water by the John Denver Memorial (site of his plane crash) and along Ocean View Blvd. back to Lovers Point Park.

We returned to our B&B, checked out and are headed to the north end of Napa Valley!

Notes. Shooting east in the morning without a hood for the new lens. The circular polarizer filter can only do so much and I wouldn't know where to begin to "fix" this image in PS, so this is what I have.

A rocky beach landscape! Looks nice weather and the fresh air from that ocean would be good for the heart!

@maggiemae It was beauuuutiful here! Living here, however, requires more commas and zeroes in one's bank account than we have!

I have happy memories of the Monarch sanctuary in Pacific Grove - and seeing the sun setting over the ocean. This is a beautiful scene.
