Size matters (on water)

I thought this might be an interesting shot to show the relative size of a typical single rowing shell. Perhaps this suggests what could happen when a fishing boat producing a wake with 1-foot waves goes by a single rowing shell whose deck is just a few inches off the water. (So this sculler, at least, alters course to point the bow directly into the wake.)

Today was a lake-row four days in a row!

It looks very fragile and very small! A major skill in not getting turned over!

@maggiemae I suppose they're all fragile, in a sense, but this one will take a bit more abuse than one of our other two!

Strong leading line from the pier. And an interesting contrast of the two boats.
