Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (dark form female)

This is the swallowtail I have usually seen most frequently, until this year, “The Year of the Zebra Swallowtail” in our garden. This is the dark female version, which contrasts greatly from the male and yellow-form female which gave the species its common name.

Confirmed at BugGuide as “Papilio glaucus” or “Eastern Tiger Swallowtail.”
