Turns out this is not Blue salvia. It's still Salvia something, but not S. farinacea. My expert wrote back, “There are hundreds of species of Salvia and thousands of cultivated varieties. So from just a photo it is nearly impossible to say what you have. It looks like it has some S. nemorosa in it, but who knows.”

I had checked my photos against this one in particular at PhytoImages. Clearly, the leaf shapes are not the same. So unknown Salvia it is.

It's okay, Thom! It was a lovely photo and I really like your textured green leaves here. They slightly curve and you captured the detail in the ruffled edges.
