I was an astronomy- and space-geek when I was younger. (I was 12 when Aldrin & Armstrong set feet on the moon.) I have had a couple fleeting thoughts about “astrophotography” in the last couple of years, but I’m not ready for the investments of time and money to get up to speed and although I live in a somewhat rural area, there is still too much ambient light, so astrophotography is not on any current agenda.

@bella_ss Yeah, still posting. I have taken tagging seriously, so my posts have been a resource for “When did we ____?” and it’s also my first pool of candidates when I sit down to do the photo calendar for Clare & me and our daughters every year. I’ve invested too much in almost-11 years of photo-journaling to abandon it now, though Covid-restricted travel has challenged me to find posts for the ~300 days/year we are home … as we were last year. I think I’ve covered what there is to photograph in my surroundings (well, without just aimlessly wandering around the town!). ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
