Another paint job

This will be the coming baby’s room.

Somewhere in its history, this room had a clothing or towel hook hanger rail bar near the light switch. When I removed the screws that attached to the wall, the rail bar remained securely on the wall. Careful as I was, when I pried it off wall, a thick chunk of plaster or drywall came with it. Sigh. What did he/she/they do? Dude, the screws were adequate! So multiple layers of mud, sanding and now we’re finally ready to paint. Sample blocks on the wall, but the chosen color was “Vanilla Ice Cream.”

“Vanilla Ice Cream” is defined as RGB = 255, 230, 179, so it’s [bright] yellow (RGB = 255, 255, 0) with
    » a bit of green removed (255 —> 230)
    » a lot of blue added (0 —> 179).
For you CMYK fans, it’s C = 1, M = 9, Y = 33, K = 0.
And for hex fans, it’s #FFE76B3.
Go ahead, paint some in your photo editor. It’s pretty realistic-looking in my Photoshop v.7, ©2002. :)

@jgpittenger @randystreat We are, to a *huge* extent, merely paying forward what Clare's parents did for us. I still remember when our kids were young, they helped us by trimming our "maple bush"... Parenting never ends, but what you teach -- often by "doing" -- changes a lot over time!
