Quercus interruptus by rhoing

Quercus interruptus

When weeding, it’s very rewarding to get the tap root. When the “weed” is actually a seedling growing in the yard, it’s rewarding to get the nut. These are obviously acorns or oaknuts (genus Quercus). I should endeavor to find out exactly what type of oak our neighbors have in their yard.

Note. Now I see that I screwed up the export with ON1. I exported with the wrong dimensions, 1000×750 instead of 750×1000. (Note the big white blocks on the side.) I don’t want to wipe out the comments below, so I can’t replace it now. Sigh. Still learning ON1!
