A young mom

When the 5-year old was born, our daughter asked me what was different about becoming a grandpa compared to becoming a dad. I still stand by the answer(s) I gave then. Becoming a grandpa came at a different stage of life: I was retired and not concerned about the work-part of my life. But I think more than that, it’s very gratifying and heart-warming to watch my child become a parent. She’s been such a good mom to these little munchkins. :)
