One of the things that 365 did for me — if indirectly during my years of going to the campus greenhouse then reading about the plants I photographed and posted here — was making the real connection between the plants that are outside and the food on our tables inside.
Not happy with the photo, but here is a humble ear of corn we bought yesterday at the farm market in Ohio and will be on our dinner plates tonight. But now—

@marlboromaam It was! Grilled chicken thighs, corn from two ears, fresh basil from our garden, mixed in with rice and couscous. A dinner that went together quickly after an eight-hour drive.
