@casablanca Hi Casablanca- we'd never spent much time there before. I know what you're saying and I think it all comes down to the how and why of Canberra. Being built from scratch - as a showpiece for the nation - resulted in a beautiful city. Having no history does give it a funny feel though. Having said that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. @robz Yes, we enjoyed it but such a weird feel. I think you are right about the lack of history. Purpose built for politicians! We went for the flower festival Floriade. It was amazing.
