Just waiting.. by robz

Just waiting..

Zoe goes beserk when people dive into the pool - it's the highlight of her day - chasing them up and down the length of the pool barking with glee. ....
Love the light on Zoe, great leading line/curve.

She just wait to chase or does she also jump in?

Oh bless!

She’s perfectly placed and the curves and reflections are great but maybe a tad blown out? Hard to shoot white or black dogs and get the exposure right

@jgpittenger You're so right - I'm still learning how to play with the few options I get on my camera. I was wanting to darken the background which was very ugly - so she ended up very bright!! I'll have a go at dampening her down on Picmonkey.....

@jgpittenger Hi again Jane - I think she's looking a little more natural - and I sure had fun playing with the zoom focus and spotlight at the same time!! Thanks for your feedback - much appreciated! Cheers Rob

Lovely shot of the gorgeous Zoe, waiting with such anticipation.

@golftragic Hi Marnie - the poor girl had to go to the vet today - it appears she has a small cancer on her underside (too much sunbaking!) Hopefully all will be well after tomorrow - she's booked in for a removal - it's going to be way more expensive than Errol's Basal Cell cancer removal earlier in the week!! Ever since pet insurance became a thing vet prices have skyrocketed! She's worth every cent though - of course!!

love all the curves and shadows. Our dog goes crazy when I am hosing the garden. Hope all goes smoothly tomorrow

Lovely leading lines, taking you all the way to Zoe!

I hope Zoë will be allright! Nice shot and curved line.

Hope all goes well for Zoe's op..what a week for you! Difficult shot with the light and shade, I wouldn't know how to balance that.

I mentioned in this post Zoe had to go in today to have a cancer cut from her tummy (due to too much sunbaking!!) I've just heard from the vet that she's come through the anesthetic without a hitch and all is well. Just thought I would let you know as several of you were kind enough to wish her well. Thanks from my Zo! And thanks from me for your kind comments on the photo! @robz That is a relief for you. Hope she continues to have a good recovery - lots of suncream now!

@rosie00 Thank you so much Lesley. She seems fine this morning and the vet said the cancer was not very well established. Would you believe I have always put sunscreen on her face, ears and tummy! Maybe it would have appeared even earlier otherwise. Thanks for your kind thoughts. :)

@robz Oh golly whizz, I must've missed that post Rob. Poor Zoe. Good to hear she's OK though, give her a hug from me.

Not wrong about the exhorbitant costs charged by vets!!!!

I love the look on her face- go ahead, jump in! You know you want to. I want you to-so go ahead! Fun. Glad to hear that her surgery did the trick and she's fine.
