and here's a take on another of that bunch of tulips that did survive to today, although the purple ones finished first. I took shots of these tulips and a fire engine, that conveniently parked outside my windows when the fireman went to deal with whatever fire they'd been called to, although this is one of the pictures I took yesterday - and also fails to meet the Dogwood Challenge.
Three good things:
1. My daughter was up bright and early this morning, which she hasn't been for weeks
2. Glorious sunny day in parts
3. the shirt I'm making is fitting much better than previous attempts using a different pattern - although this one has had a lot of alterations to the pattern as I am going through. Hopefully the next one will go through easily and fit better without additional alterations
Thank you for looking and your fantastic comments and favs. I really didn't expect to see yeterday's purple tulips reach the PP. I prefer to spend time looking at your pictures rather than thank you individually below.

If you are doing Fill the Frame - I think this works perfectly.
@farmreporter - yes, fill the frame, but the comment is to fill it with one colour and there are other colours here. (I may end up tagging it for the Dogwood challenge later in the week if I don't find something else I like better).
