Peas in the green

It is very dry here and we are in extreme fire danger according to CalFire, but if you can find a small stream, there is still some green. Peas in the wild 2 weeks ago.

I've wanted to grow sweet peas ever since I've had my own place. For some reason (perhaps my brown thumb) they not grown successfully. They remind me of my childhood. My mother had them on a trellis in the garden under the kitchen window.
