by the amount of gifts i have received so far, it makes me think that i had probably been a good girl this year. although i'd much prefer to be naughty, you know! ;-)

@northy - that one's always tricky. however, etiquette says as a general rule, you don't give a gift to your boss, but then depending on how close the mix of friendship/boss relationship is. but the boss must give a gift to his or her subordinates. so if you have 20 people under you, that's $400 worth of 20 tim horton's gift cards you have to defray, unless you just bring them to lunch which would probably cost more. which makes a bottle each would make more economic sense at $9.95 a bottle, then your cost would be just under 200$ :-) thanks, mate. are you really going to a warmer climate and ditch us all for the holidays?
Very elegant and simple. I am so pleased that I don't have to worry about giving gifts to work colleagues - all I have to do is hand out some dog cookies!
