this is the third edition of the one night stand challenge. tonight it calls for a photograph in black and white.
this is a statue on the outside wall of the hockey hall of fame. it's an imposing statue; i sometimes think it could do a lot of damage to anyone beneath it should it break off the wall. i couldn't find any indication as to who it is but since the building is the hockey hall of fame, i would assume that he is a hockey god. although not quite like wayne gretzky.
shot in colour and processed in camera to black and white; which wasn't really a feat because it was so drab and grey today that the shot almost came out as black and white. added the name tag and framing from ribbet.com.
He seems a little angry, but maybe that's because he looks so "cold" sitting out there in the cold weather. Will somebody please give this poor guy a coat!! LOVE it. Great pov and lovely in b/w. P.S. Which photo bag are you getting, summerfield?!! I'm checking some out ... but haven't seen any that I like. What was that designer's name?
@karenann - hahaha! thank you, KA. he can bear the cold, he seems cold as ice! i'm looking at the kelly moore bags, the 'chapel backpack' in particular. but it is out of stock at the canadian retailer. my other choice is the 'kelly boy' which is supposed to be available here and a tad cheaper than the chapel. you can also google epiphaniebags.com; i like their brooklyn and austin styles. the shop here should be e-mailing me tomorrow to let me know if the kelly boy is in stock. thanks, KA.
i think he was frozen while doing sign language for 'cold' (his hands would have been moving slightly back and forth horizontally)!! well done - perfect frame!
