update on the "mother and child" posting of may 3rd. this is the photo that will go on the bonbonniere frames for his first communion this weekend. they like this photograph, as well as the other shots.
hallmark has a photo contest and i had thought of submitting the 'mother and child' photograph but again the rule of "it becomes their property" really turns me off. i think i'll stay away from contests.
@pamfromcalgary - thank you, pam. he's very articulate for a boy as young as he. last year, when i first met him, i told him, "do you know that you're very handsome?" and he replied, "yes, i do know. everyone is always telling me that and i don't understand why it's a big deal!" i was just floored, and he said it so casually yet politlely.
This is a delightful shot of an unusually un-selfconscious young man. Well captured! Yes, I find that rules attached to competitions put me off entering too.
