i realized at lunchtime that i have not been to the boardwalk in months! i frequented this at the height of winter and yet this is the first time i came here since the good weather came.
there is a "tall ships tour" from thursday until the weekend and thought i'd do it. i was thinking of goofing off work on thursday but then i got a reminder that the firm's luau, our annual social, is on that day, and i've been asked to take pictures. so forget about the plan of goofing off, as i also have to meet my editor for dinner. tarnation! but i promise you, i will have tall ship photos by the weekend.
lovely capture, I went sailing on a tall ship once (many years ago now - just a short trip, fortunately we weren't shipwrecked, lol - pity you can't goof off work, maybe another time, looking forward to seeing more ship pics
I look forward to seeing them too! I worked on tall ships in the UK, Japan and Australia for 8 years...love to see the way that other people appreciate them!
So you are official "event photog" ...very cool. This is a beautiful old ship! Are you going to come up with something for the " Mad Minute- Mulligrubs?" :0) If not, don't get a case of the mulligrubs! It's fine!
lovely shot - and how cool that you've been roped in to being the photog for the event! i really need to get down to the docks to see the boats.... wonder if i could drag my butt out of bed early enough saturday morning for this... hmmm
