in the garden

“If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden.”
― Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden

if i had a garden, a red leafed maple tree would be at the centre and each day i will sit underneath and while my hours away. i would; i'm pretty sure i would.

it was a beautiful cloudless day; we were in a tree-lined street with its leaves just starting to grow. the maple tree was totally leafed, its red leaves glowing in the sunshine and beautiful against the backdrop of a beautiful blue sky.

thank you for your kind views and comments; know that they are truly appreciated.
They are like a Japanese silk screen like this in B&W! Do we get to see their red colour?

Very pretty. I like the way you've composed this and the way the light is coming through the leaves- it has a very oriental feeling to it which I imagine is appropriate since it's a Japanese-like Maple!
