we found this little parkette during our drive last night with a large flower bed with coral coloured tulips as the dominant display. partner was so captivated, he was the first to suggest we use the crystal ball. he's loving the crystal ball now, too! later on he asked, if the crystal ball was bigger, would it have shown more of the flower beds? i said no, it would cover the same dimension only the images would be bigger. mistake!!! he said if it was he'd get me a bigger crystal ball.
i positioned the ball to catch the houses across the road, and it reminded me of the street where i lived in luxembourg in the 80's.
thank you for your visits and comments; know that they are truly appreciated.
Very cool...now I want one. I've done some reflections in bubbles but they are so hard to control, it would be nice to have a sphere that would stay where you put it and wouldn't just suddenly pop!
@gardencat - thank you, joanne. you can get it at amazon.com. depending on the size you want. this one fits my hand perfectly and it costs $12 canadian but with the shipping it all came to $26. but i've been playing with it for more than a year now. it's awesome prop to have.
Awesome B&W shot. I keep wanting to get one of those balls but haven't found one yet. I know I can order it on the Internet but so far I just keep trying to find one in a store.
@mittens - thank you, marilyn. try barnes & noble. that's where i saw one a long time ago before i saw it being used here on 365. oops, i don't know where you are but b&n is american.
Love the little world and the little tulips. I can't seem to get the knack of catching shots like this. So far it's only it's only worked for me with trees. Great shot!
