early morning at the sugar beach, on our way home from our sunday breakfast downtown. why we stopped was because i saw a really huge freight ship that was unloading raw sugar at the sugar factory right beside this 'beach' and i like to take photos of these pink umbrellas every chance i get.
when we got home at ten-thirty, i laid down for a nap but when i woke up it was already two in the afternoon. which means i slept for more than three hours. i was having a dream and i wanted to wake up but i couldn't. partner did come into the bedroom twice and i was yelling at him to wake me up but he didn't. he said i looked so relaxed so he didn't bother me. it was quite a long dream and certainly a long nap.
it was a beautiful day today in toronto, a tad bit hot around mid day to early afternoon but it soon cooled down to a decent enough temperature that partner and i went for a walk and took in the 'taste of the danforth' festival for a few minutes.
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are truly appreciated. special thanks for your generous favs on yesterday's photo.
@maggiemae - yes, it is a pretend beach. people can't actually go on the water, and it is right next to a sugar mill and on the other side is a big building. this part of the lakeside is industrial. the sand is white-ish so it's not the local sand. i am wont to think that this was made mainly for the employees of the businesses housed in that building and generally for other people on weekends. thank you, maggiemae.
