there were still some luscious tulips at the toronto gardens yesterday. i just love this colour of old rose on the petals. and the black beauties planted alongside this breed were also beautiful, especially with the raindrops on them. there were still a few beds with young buds in them and i reckon i'd still catch them on the weekend.
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are truly appreciated.
@creativeaddict - it is a photography project wherein you take photos of complete strangers, get to know their names and what they do, or get some general knowledge about them. you don't have to take the photographs all at once but you can do it over time. also, the idea is you cannot pay them, or they cannot pay you. although you can tie the project in with another project called 'the $2 project' which is when strangers on the street ask you for money, you give them $2 (not more, not less) with the condition that you will take their photos. i describe it as 'dreaded' because it is quite nerving to approach and talk to strangers you meet randomky on the street. both projects are a sub-genre of street photography. you can google it or search the discussion page here on 365 to give you more information on the topic.
awesome raindrops and shallow dof. even awesomer on black. How did the discussion in involve 100 strangers project? Oh, and i had to read it twice to catch the randomly issue. My brain translated.
@bill_fe - somebody asked, if you read the comment before mine, so i have to respond since i know the answer, more or less. "randomky" is cool, huh! :-P
Wow, has it really been this long since I commented on your lovely photos?! I don't believe it.....I think 365 is deleting my comments and my FAVs from your site!! Seriously, though, this is such a beautiful tulip soaked in the rain.....love the colors!
