we woke up late and we remembered grandmere's promise that she has a special treat for us today. so we took the bus and the subway train, that's all we know because she put us inside her camera bag so we couldn't see where we were going. and then, voilà! we were surrounded by plants. many plants! we thought we were in the forest, but we kind of figured it was her favourite gardens judging by the beautiful flowers that were all over.
we especially loved the giant cacti. i love cacti so when i saw this humongous cactus plant, i told grandy i want my photo taken on top of it. although grandy warned me that the thorns are rather hardy and might pierce me, i told her that i wasn't afraid. well, wrong move. i got pricked once and it hurt. but i had to show a brave face or else i'd get a lot of teasing from grandy.
we took so many photos of every flower and every plant around. but when it came to narrowing down to one photo, hop-along bob and mr. padraigh penwyn couldn't decide on what to post. so mr. padraigh suggested to grandy about a collage to which she agreed. so we each chose one photo and grandy said that was best.
next week, we'll be playing games!

The gardens sound lovely! But we think that Little Blue would not be a good koala to bring to something like this as he might get confused and eat the Eucalyptus if he saw it. We love your collage too! Piggy and the Critters
