this i wear to work, especially when i wear a jacket. for a professional look. where i come from, we have different attires for school, for work, for church and for grocery shopping. in college i took secretarial management and business administration and personality development is one of the key courses, at least where i come from. looking the part is good for business and especially when you want to go up in the corporate world. i know of a few people who have been passed for a promotion because they don't look or act or dress the part. i am one of those people who don't wear jeans to work. i sometimes wear tights but with high boots and long top that sufficiently covers my butt, even though i know it's not appropriate office attire; but then you should see some of the people in my office.
One wonders what the workplace will become as younger people and more relaxed attitudes become the norm. Good to know there are still some who recognize that appearances do count. I imagine you look very professional in your suit and power bling. It is beautiful especially in this photo
I like the way that the orange is reflected in the ring. Dress codes are certainly more relaxed than they once were. I'm regularly staggered by what I see people wearing when I'm at the shopping centre!
Appropriate attire always helps. Lucky for me, it was comfortable jeans (no holes), company shirt, and jogging shoes. I was an IT engineer and had to crawl around on the floor and get behind things so heels and skirts would be totally inappropriate.
I miss dressing up. When I first worked (the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s) we dressed up every day. Then beginning in the 90’s office attire started becoming so much more casual. I miss dressing up. This is a great photo of bling power, Vikki!
