today is canada's 152nd birthday -- we are still a young country but we are very lucky to be living here and to be canadians. some just much more lucky but i will refrain from further commentary.

the Canada flag billows in the breeze from the stern of the schooner Bluenose II from Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, which is on a visit to Toronto for the tall ships festival during the weekend and the main attraction of the festival.
That is way cool how you framed that with the shadow overlapping so it looks like it’s coming right out of the frame. I love the Canadian Flag. It is of nature. Happy Canada Day. You could tag it FramingJuly19 since the framing challenge started today.
I didn't realize exactly what the celebration was about until I heard someone talking about it on the radio today. I'm ashamed, as I was born in Canada and still have relatives there.
You are indeed lucky- Canada, and its people, has so much to offer. As Aussies we felt very much at home there - even in the cold! You look like you had a great day - with a nice image here to remember it by. :)
