heart ablaze, a haiku by summerfield

heart ablaze, a haiku

my heart is on fire
with the love i feel for you
but you don't know it.

this is an example of a haiku that has been written when the brain is in a torpid state; not wanting to dig deeper for a more meaningful or original creation.

ingrid, i have in fact done the ring-heart book shot in february 2017 the lighting is what you have to watch out for when using a torch light.

i think this shot is best done in natural light. but it's late and this was a last-minute idea. i used the 37mm circular polarizer filter of my olympus camera instead of a ring.

all night, i've been watching the moon come in and out of the clouds. i can't concentrate on anything at all.
Lovely Haiku and great shot.

Obviously your verse was written with the Prime Minister in mind. ;-) Neat shot - I kind of like the creativity of the filter representing the ring....must be a very large finger!

When seeing the photo had to smile and knew straight away who the artist was! I really like this variation!

I like your photo. I think it fascinating that you can toss off a verse just like that. Are you moonstruck?

Since reading your haiku I now know how you feel about me! (; I like the fact that you used the filter ring for the shot. It emphasizes the love of photography!

It’s OK to be unsettled occasionally and I know you’ll get back on track quickly.

@randystreat - most definitely not, madam. 🤣67-year olds don't get moonstruck no more!

you are indeed an artist - both literary and in imagery. Still loving your resourcefulness.
