clear sailing by summerfield

clear sailing

Now I look into your eyes
The color of a quiet sea
Cast my love up on the tide
Watch it return to me
Now I'm feeling fine
I can tell the storm has passed
For the last time
It's gonna be clear sailing
From now on
- Clear Sailing, P. McIan and A. Montgomery
- sung by Barbra Streisand

actually, we haven't weathered the storm yet. but i believe we're getting there. we just have to be patient and admit to ourselves the rules of the new normal.

Great photo for the poem. I'm afraid for the storm still to come (in the US, anyway). Hard to feel good about things sometimes but trying to keep breathing through and focusing on the positives...

Beautiful peaceful capture and lovely poem. I can imagine it will still take a while before we get back on track.

The photo is magnificent! The poem you wrote, also. I feel we will never recognize life as it gets back to normal because we will have lived this way for so long.

We have pretty clear sailing in Western Australia at present, but that can all be snatched away very quickly and I fear that it will happen sooner rather than later.

Glad to be in Canada at this point, at least. Take care.

I so hope you are right. This is a great example on the effectiveness of the rule of thirds.
