passed by this place on my morning walk on monday. i was a bit slow in deciding whether i should take a photo or not as i stared at it from this vantage point. it was a bad move to have dilly-dallied as the sun rose some more and the light on the fountain and the water had changed. but i still like what i captured although next time i probably would ask them to remove the building in the background.😜
i'm rather depressed, from the stress of going to the office because i have nowhere else to go to be able to work. and i got more upset and distressed because my best girl at the office had been let go for no other reason than it's a 'business decision'. really sucks! so i think i want to live under a rock and stay there until 2525, if humans are still alive.
I’m so sorry about your best girl. Things are so different now, a friend told me today she had gotten so used to Zoom she didn’t want to go back to her office. She always dressed up and looked so professional, she said she loved her casual clothes now.
The fountain and surrounding garden still has lovely light and the drops of water still shimmer and sparkle. Sorry to hear about your working situation. Life is so cruel sometimes and certainly makes no sense.
Oh... :( be depressed and feel sad for a while, but don't forget to come out of the pit. didn't you stretch it too far? 2525? 2436 might be enough, i would say.
Nice framed shot.
Just beautiful. So sorry about your best girl. Life is very see-saw currently and full of the uncertainties covid brought and its knock on effects. Sending love your way. A brighter day is coming.
So difficult when you have no control over the decisions of others. Great shot of the fountain and good luck when asking for the building to be removed.
Beautiful the way this fountain pops out of the shadows with all that glorious light! I’m not sure what you saw before the light changed but this is magnificent.
Sorry about your distressing situation with home and work. One day at a time seems to be a good way to approach it. I know you understand that without these bad days you wouldn’t appreciate the good ones.
