i have no artistic idea as to what to post tonight so the ivy plant was hauled off the top shelf. how artistic can you get with a plant that insists on growing horizontally?
my left pinky is painful and it's difficult to type. i broke my nail this morning and i absentmindedly just pulled the nail off without even looking at it. i didn't realize it was attached still at the corner. it was painful and bled like heck which i didn't realize until i came back home and saw blood on my jacket.
i'm typing a lot of a's and the pinky's getting aggravated.
Ivy has a lovely green colour and should only be grown in a pot. Our garden was full of ivy and over the years we have pulled 100's of plants out that willl overtake and eventually kill a stronger plant. I know how sore that nail is and the best cure is putting a bit of mercurochrome on it if you can source this!
@maggiemae - not to worry, i have an ointment from the 1950's that is still good and will heal the wound by tomorrow. 🤣 mercurochrome is just coloured alcohol i think.
as for the horizontally growing plant... most of the plants grow vertically. so yours is something else from the very start.
I am at a loss with my photography as well.
Hope your finger heals quickly.
