primary colours distorted

week 38 of the 52 captures challenge calls for distorted photography.

i don't think i've ever done this refraction thing ever in my 12 years here on 365. or maybe i had, i just forgot about it. this is not my kind of photography that is why. what i miss doing is shooting smoke and water crowns. smoke is out of the question as the smoke alarm here is very sensitive and water crown takes a lot of time in setting up.

This worked really Vikki. I've never tried this type of refraction. What's your trick to getting such bright white backgrounds?

@merrelyn - just ample light, light background, and a slightly longer exposure. this one is 0.3 sec, too long really as i lost part of the glass' rim.
